Microsoft’s search engine Bing will provide a facility to search Facebook’s popular shared links. It will index information from fan pages, and popular shared links from non fan pages. It will only index links from users who have set their update privacy settings to share with ‘everyone’ and will only index the links, not the associated update text, the names of users or their photos.
